When I was 13 years old, my family and I went on vacation to Italy to the heart of the Renaissance. We went to Florence, Como, Milan and Venice in Italy. First I went to Florence and I loved the buildings I saw, I visited the Florence Cathedral, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio buildings there. In Milan, I have visited Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Duomo Di Milano.
I was very interested in the details, size and history of these buildings I went to. These buildings were built for their own religion, and I learned that the architects who started to build their own building most of them were died before the building was finished and also during the renaissance era people were giving great importance to these buildings and built them in the most detailed way.
If we continue, 6 years have passed since my holiday in Italy and I still have not forgotten the magnificence Renaissance buildings, I understand the importance and value of the Renaissance more and more every year. So I took up my own project on the Renaissance, as I understood how great the impact of the Renaissance on architecture was and I wanted to try these detailed structures by myself. As I said, Renaissance buildings are mostly religious buildings and I want to build a mosque for myself in my project by using the building of my own religion by using the characteristics of the Renaissance. Furthermore, I didn't know this Italy vacation would affect me so much. Lastly due to this holiday it made me to choose this Renaissance issue and to build mosques or mosques with the characteristics of the Renaissance.
Okay, decent effort, would be good to see some images included in this post, to show us the kind of buildings you visited. You say these buildings were built 'for their own religion' - you are allowed to say which one it is and also consider how this is influencing your project idea.
